News Report October 2006 Edition

We are pleased to announce the following developments:

1. Expansion of operations of the International Medical Publishing Group (IMPG)

As reported in our News Report of October 2004, Kingswood Scientific Publishers was established in 1953. Following the merger between Kingswood Scientific Publishers and Cosmopolitan Health Publishing in 1978, with the formation of Kingscos Medical Publishers, the work of the group has been expanding. The scope of the activities of the group was further strengthened by the formation of more alliance with our counterparts in different parts of the world, contributing to the formation of the ‘International Medical Publishing Group’ in 2004, with a consensus agreement for the name to become operational from January 2006.

At the meeting of the IMPG Committee in March 2006, it was agreed that a Limited Liability Company by Guarantee would be formed in the UK, as our operations are expanding in the UK and Europe. This is in response to the demand of our customers in order to promote the continuos growth of the Group from its operations since 1953 as international partnerships. It was also agreed that a Board of Trustees would be appointed to oversee the activities the group, especially with regards to the International Medical Services Fund (IMPGF), the grant awarding division of the group, which was established in 2004. It was decided that a Board of Trustees for the Group would be appointed in 2007/2008.
